Rubbish Strike - Amsterdam

Business owners were getting more and more frustrated as Amsterdam's rubbish strike continued since beginning on May the 3rd. Tourists were taking to photographing rubbish heaps instead of canals, and large pens were set up in some areas to contain it all. There was a fermenting smell starting to grace the streets of which become considerably more narrow to accommodate piles of trash. The strike ended on May 15th.
