Story Magazine #2 - The Cover

Having posted the below picture of Rodman, it reminded me of another recent photo shoot we did.
A bowl full of paint, a bathtub, a white wall and a flash light umbrella that was eventually covered with splatters of red paint after a very messy high five.

Kasia, Justine, Sophie and I have been working on releasing our second art mag - Story - Seek Love Destroy, with Rod helping me out on a last minute photo shoot. You will also see him in our Submit Page at the Rear. Check it out:

Rodman

Afer shooting some baby photos, I went to hang with my friend Rod. I didn't have my board on me, but I had my camera. Here is Rodman at his favourite spot - The Gym - busting out a solid Frontside Nose Slide.

The Wattley Family's New Arrival

Congratulations to Charlotte and Myron Wattley for their new arrival.
The lovely Amaya Louise Wattley.

The little one was so well behaved while I was there, she even fell asleep in my arms. A little wriggler, she new how to bust the moves for the camera...

Marseille Evening Light

I'm always so taken by Sunsets in the South of France. Here I was lucky to time it with a young couple playing with their dog. The silhouette adds a welcome focus point to the photo.

Briançon - Puy Saint André

In the weekend we headed up to the mountains for a chilled out weekend. The snow dumped heavy the first night, even with specialised tires we couldn't get up to our accommodation. at about 3mph we tried edging up the mountain but eventually we found ourselves going backwards more than forwards. Despite encouraging words over the phone to get out and walk, we decided to slowly reverse down and retreat to a hotel.
The next day when the mountain was clear we made it up... oh my *** This place was amazing!
I'm going to invest in a little travel tripod as the view is incredible.
I tried my hand on night time star trails but without reciprocity failure (like the good ol days with film) the images would over expose! Now I see it is a recognised problem and so Canon bought out a Canon 5dII N (the N is for Night). Anyone with a spare few grand??

Here are some shots I got whilst not hurtling down a mountain on a piece of plastic or being escorted off the slopes by snow mobiles....
